In connection to the “Wedding Between Art & Agriculture” in 2010 we planted Azolla in the newly dug out pond at Kultivator. The Azolla grew very well in the pond and Kultivator harvested many wheel barrows of Azolla. Some of it we offered to animals on the farm to see if they had any interest in it as fodder. We also grew some Azolla in a more controlled separate cultivation next to the pond, which we harvested Azolla from for cooking Azolla soup for the guest at the wedding to taste. The Azolla soup got a very muddy color, but tasted ok, much thanks to the vegetable bullion it was cooked with.
